Terms of Use
Last updated: April 20, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of AnyFrame (the "App"), a macOS application provided by 19 Finger GmbH, Mozartstr. 41, 22083 Hamburg, Germany ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms supplement the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every app purchased from the Mac App Store. In the event of a conflict, these Terms prevail, except where Apple's agreement mandates otherwise.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, in accordance with the Mac App Store Usage Rules and the Apple Licensed Application EULA.
You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law; (b) sublicense, rent, lease, or resell the App; (c) modify or create derivative works based on the App; (d) remove any proprietary notices.
3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
AnyFrame includes a free 14-day trial during which all features are unlocked. After the trial, the free tier is subject to usage limits (currently a maximum of three capture sessions per day, each capped at five minutes). To remove these limits, you may purchase one of the following in-app options:
- AnyFrame Pro (Monthly) — auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly.
- AnyFrame Pro (Yearly) — auto-renewing subscription, billed annually.
- AnyFrame Pro (Lifetime) — one-time purchase, non-consumable.
Current prices for your region are displayed in the App and in the Mac App Store before you confirm any purchase. Prices may vary by country due to regional pricing tiers, taxes, and exchange rates.
3.1 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term at the then-current price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. The length and price of each subscription option are shown in the App before purchase and in the Mac App Store product page.
3.2 Managing and Cancelling Your Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in System Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on macOS, or Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iOS/iPadOS with a shared Apple ID. Cancellation prevents the next renewal; your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period. No partial refunds are offered for the unused portion of a paid period.
3.3 Refunds
All in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.
If Apple grants a refund for a subscription or lifetime purchase, your Pro access will be revoked automatically the next time the App verifies your entitlement with the App Store.
3.4 Family Sharing
The Lifetime purchase is enabled for Apple Family Sharing, so your Family Sharing group can share access. Subscriptions are not family-shareable, consistent with Apple's guidance for recurring-revenue products.
4. Privacy
Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: the App processes screen content entirely on-device, and we collect no personal data. In-app purchases are processed by Apple, and no payment information reaches us.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws. You are solely responsible for complying with any recording-consent rules, workplace policies, or other regulations that may apply to your use of the App, particularly when sharing screen content containing information about others.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including all source code, compiled binaries, graphics, text, design, and accompanying materials, is the property of 19 Finger GmbH and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The license granted in Section 2 does not transfer ownership of any part of the App to you.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from software defects.
This disclaimer does not limit any mandatory warranty rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws (e.g., §§ 434 ff. BGB for consumers in Germany).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 19 Finger GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App or its in-app purchases during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
The limitations in this Section do not apply to liability arising from intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or liability under mandatory provisions of the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).
9. Termination
You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12 survive termination.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, stop using the App and cancel any active subscription.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you have your habitual residence.
The place of jurisdiction for disputes with merchants, legal entities under public law, or special funds under public law is Hamburg, Germany.
